the ground reality is librarians have to be treated on par with teachers as per AICTE/UGC norms and hence they are entitled to get 6th pay as applicable to teaching staff. this is truly exploitation. As per the information provided by the Technical Education department, engineering colleges functioning in kerala state is not yet devised and implemented the staff pattern and their scales of pay as stipulated by AICTE/UGC.
